THE CLIMBING OF HIMALAYA

It was a rainy and windy morning on the “base camp” of Himalaya mountain. It was very cold so Mascherano and his friends couldn’t continue climbing the mountain, so meanwhile they prepare the breakfast. Suddenly they call to the “control base” that was 1000 metres downstairs to ask for the weather of the next day to continue climbing the Himalaya’s 8864 metres.

But, surprisingly they couldn’t contact with the control base, because the radio wasn’t working well in that moment so, they decided to continue with the expedition although they didn’t know the climatic conditions if the weathers improve in the next day. After that, Mascherano started feeling bad, so their friends help to him going to the tent, because he needed to rest for feeling better.


Meanwhile, there were helping to Mascherano in the tent the weather change a lot and started to snow. There were in the middle of the two “control base” and they didn’t do anything because they didn’t see anything. They found a cave and they pass the night in it. The next was a very good day with a very good weather, but the floor was very bad because the snow. So they had to stay another they in the cave. When the floor was better they started to climbed the mountain.

Mascherano was better and when they were climbing the mountain they saw an avalanche in the top of the mountain. In that moment there was a deathly silence and the friends of Mascherano they were trembling with fear. Mascherano was a brave person and he wasn’t coward person and all the group continued climbed the mountain. They stayed climbed the mountain two hours and then they stopped to ate something.


When they were eating fruits, started to rain and now Mascherano was worried but the last base to arrive to the top of the mountain was 300m ago. Mascherano and his friends started to run because the snow were going to been slippery. One friend, fall to the snow but Mascherano, take him on his broad-shouldered and carry him until the control base. All people was well and were near the top of Himalaya.

All people were sleeping but Mascherano no. He saw the top of the mountain so he wake up his team members and started to go mountain up. The floor was very bad so They took the ice axes and they went mountain up. They arrived at the top, they didn’t believe it. Mascherano took a flag for his backpack and it hammered into the mountain. They were very happy, they stayed 10 minutes relaxing in the top of mountain and later they started to go mountain down. They arrived at camp base and all the people that were there congratulate Mascherano and his team. They slept there and in the next day they went to home.

The work was that each one the group has to do the first paragraph of his story and later any other if te group can continue the history. Isidro Larrañaga Akordeoi Orkestra

Hi to all my readers!

In this post my intention is to communicate all of you that I play in a orchestra called ISIDRO LARRAÑAGA AKORDEOI ORKESTRA, and I'm going to tell you all the history and all the achievements of the orchestra.

The orchestra was founded by Isidro Larrañaga Beloki, the father of Isitxo Larrañaga Moreno, who nowadays is my director, in 1980. The first historical great achievements was marked by  the international tour in France, having a great success, in April 1985.

  On the other hand, in 1987 and 1988, the orchestra took part in lot of festivals, held by the Department of Education and Culture of the Basque Governments and the Regional Gobens of Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia. A second orchestra formed by students of music, between 9 and 13 years old, was founded in 1987 under the direction of Isidro Larrañaga.

In 1997, the 2 orchestras take part in the "XVII Accordion International Gran Prix", celebrated in the French city of Bischwiller, winning silver medals in the corresponding categories. In 1998, both orchestras took part in the "Castelfidardo International Great Prize of Accordions" and they obtained a silver medal and a fourth classification in the same category.

In 2000, the adult orchestra suffered a generational change, because many of its members were going to the main group. Then, the group was completed with many players from the younger orchestra, who already had enough skills to do so. Finally, the orchestra maintained its great level, and it showed it participating in the "XVIII Acordion International Gran Prix" held in the Swiss city of Geneva, and winning the gold medal.

In the year 2001, it participated in the "X. International Accordion Contest of Cantabria", obtaining the first position and the gold medal.

In 2002, the two orchestras took part again in the "XI. International Accordion Contest of Cantabria", winning the first position and the gold medal in the correspondent categories. In 2003, the both orchestras took part for the third time in the "XII. International Accordion Contest of Cantabria". The young orchestra won the gold medal while the adult one got the silver medal.
